Barrick Nevada is looking for an Electrical Supervisor to join the Cortez OpenPit Mobile Maintenance team. The Electrical Supervisor oversees, maintains, andfacilitates the needs of the mine-site by ensuring the efficiency of electricaloperations at both Pipeline and Cortez Hills
Works closely with the Maintenance Planners to assure required resource are scheduled for work to be performed.
Create daily lineout to assure the correct job assignments are made in the lineout meeting.
Assist in work order completion and close out
Identify training needs within the Team
Assess tooling requirements and needs
Update FET (focused equipment team) audit compliance spreadsheet as needed.
Track critical shovel cable and equipment and effect repairs through scheduler as required.
Leads team in minor construction projects
Leads team in mock electrical MSHA inspectionon equipment and facilities
Perform other duties as assigned
Provensafety record and ability to support work group in attainment of safety,environmental, equipment protection, and production goals required
Four (4) years supervisory experience in the electrical field preferred.
Prior experience in maintenance and repair of electric haul trucks preferred.
Knowledge of P&H Shovel electrical systems preferred.
Mustbe able to work with a diverse group of people required.
Proven strong problem-solving skills required.
Excellent communication skillsboth oral andwritten required.
Good planning and organizational skills required.
